Thejaswini s. Rangan is an intuitive abstract artist . She began her career as an interior architect in the year 2008 . Art was an unexpected journey that happened in the same year while struggling to find pieces to fit into her reality . With no prior experience she began experimenting with colours and textures on large format boards and canvases . Art became an integral part of the mood boards of her design projects .
Her works are inspired by different environments , terrains , gradations and textures . Her first official series called the labyrinth was done in 2012 depicting the complex nature of women during pregnancy . The series was hosted by a group show @ vinyasa art gallery , Chennai and the series was sold out .
