
Ranjani Ramesh is a 44 year old woman from Chennai, now settled in Bangalore who has an academic qualification in nutrition. She has explored various styles of art and found her strength in acrylic and graphite mediums. Her themes revolve around the concept of spirituality, nature, portraits and more. She has displayed her work at quite a few exhibitions in India and has conducted several workshops.
The effort put into creating the art is to communicate a feeling of connection that goes beyond words.
Being brought up in a spiritual family with strong believers, her art is influenced by the stories of her cultural past. The Abhirami painting was inspired by the story of Abhiramabhattar and how he portrayed goddess Abhirami’s divinity in his narrations. The hanuman painting is inspired by then huge stone idol of Naamakkal Anjaneyar. His magnificent presence and vibrations led to the creation of this painting.
