Simran Wahan

Simran Wahan is an Indian visual artist, illustrator & art entrepreneur, born and raised in Coimbatore and now based in Bangalore. Her colourful artworks are is inspired by nature, tradition, human behaviour, social and spiritual observations. Her interest in art goes back to as early as a 5-year old trying to experiment with colors and textures to form random patterns. She owns a successful curated handicraft gift store called The Amaya Store in Coimbatore, which has just completed 10 years in business. She has experience in creating large scale abstract murals using clay, spray paint and acrylics. In addition, she also teaches art to children and adults in several different cities throughout India
