Artist Statement: “Passion towards painting and sketching has been the driving force in My Journey towards Art . Though a Lawyer by profession, it has been my childhood dream to take up Art which was fullfilled in my Forties :- says Ponni Ambalavanan.
“I have a PG Diploma in Arts from Bharahityar University under the guidance of my Guru Mr.Rajendran – MD Dessin Academy Chennai, I have taken part in many group shows and exhibited my paintings .Its been an amazing journey so far” .
“Meditation soothes one’s soul and yes, painting is like meditation and connecting with my canvas which feels great”- says the artist .
